Default Emerson Brantingham AA 12-20

Finally finishing this AA. Working the bugs out and chasing leaks but it's the first time it's been operational in decades. After some test driving, the lugs go on.

Have seen several pics of these, but this is the first that was restored to original. Looks great!

I'm in the same boat as Mike. I've seen pictures of older restorations and ones in their working clothes, but never one all done up. It looks awesome! You did a great job.

I assume you have some literature to go with the tractor. Is there any explanation as to why they made them so narrow?

Well that is not all what is needed, just to mention all the thin work which is all gone.

To Jeff; Never read an explanation as to why it was so narrow. All 4 wheels are on solid ground when plowing. The width is only 55 inches which makes it very manageable for hauling on a trailer. I've scrounged every bit of info I could get my mitts on. Some of the lit has been made available on- line, FOR FREE, courtesy of John Brantingham on earlier Smokstak posts. I tried to get the markings correct, even though there were different variations over the production run.

Kent, Very nice job. Will you plow with it or is your plow to rusty to hook on that nice tractor. Hope to see it in person some time.

The AA in Niles was my main reference for the markings and striping. There are a few other nice original AAs out there also.
