Default John Deere 350 Injection Pump

I have a John Deere 350 Dozer ( late 60s or early 70s) and fuel is leaking where the control rod attaches to pump. Trying to find out what is involved to repair. Thanks Jim

We have the same problem with a 430 CASE tractor, we think it is the low sulfur fuel. The Roosamaster pump needs resealed. I think we will have to remove it and get it to a place that rebuilds injection pumps.

It's not a big deal to change the throttle shaft o-rings, which are probably what's leaking...I've done them on the engine. The low-sulfur diesel shrinks o-rings & causes leaks. If the pump has 4-5K hr., it's probably time to pull it & do a rebuild anyway, the governor ring is probably ready to go...
