Default Caterpillars running at Portland

A few years back there were two Caterpillars in beautiful shades of rust. The four cylinder engines were sitting side by side bubbling a tune that brings tears to the eyes of the spectators. The operator was able to adjust the cylinders individually to enhance the dramatic hesitations to woo the growing crowd. My dad and I were well pleased with droaning, popping, crackling, pounding, and whirring that the battling duos were sounding all by a single operator.
Last year after rushing back to the thresher lot the Cats were not there. A gentleman said that if we were looking for the Cats that they weren't gonna be there because the owner had Cancer.

Does any-one know who the owner was or if he is alright? Or did anyone take a video?
