Thanks for the input guys. I haven't had much time to play with it lately. The winter storms / power outages that have occurred in the last week has had me working nearly around the clock. I'll post with further updates as time allows.

I have found some time to re-surface the exhaust manifold. It took more time to get the manifold securely clamped down and trammed in than it did to make a couple of passes with the cutter.

my fuel tank had a bale of mouse nest in it, ground the end or the tank off and removed the nest in one wad. then welded tank back . crankcase was similar

I'm still getting some work done on this project. I have been doing some welding on the rocker boxes (much easier than the exhaust parts). I have successfully disassembled the oiler. All of the oiler components appear to be reusable upon clean up. One question that I do have, is what is the best way to remove the eccentrics from the pump fork without damage?
