We were trying to get to Fillmore for some warranty work, but we sucked a muskrat into the intake!

G you posted a photo of a 110 Case steamer pulling binders cutting flax. I refered to the aria as the Creelman marsh. There were two farm yard sites now abandoned that where in that marsh. Those people had old reliable Hart-Parrs
old timers said that marsh filled with water over a short time in the spring of 1927. Looking at the back ground it would have looked like your picture.

Mr. Halcon,
There was no data on the picture but it was certainly in Saskatchewan or Manitoba, so you are likely correct. As long as they didn't get the computer module soaked, they should be good to go.

On this the very same weekend as the Gathering of the Green in Iowa there was a gathering of a different sort! Clyde Hall hosted a gathering of friends in Fillmore Saskatchewan. I will post a number of pictures from today as well as a couple of videos of the new project just completed. The Allis Chalmers crawler. I will let Clyde or Lyle add the particulars on the crawler and engine. It is I guess what you would call a semi-diesel? It has an injection pump and is direct injection but needs spark plugs as well! Starts on Gas, switches to diesel but still needs the spark plugs to run on Diesel! It must have been a good idea because they only made 20 of them!

Some of the guys were on their way home from checking out he progress on the 150 HP Case steam engine.

The rest of the photos are of past projects and of the group who gathered today.

I will not attempt to name everyone in the photos as I am sure I will mess it up!

We all enjoyed a plate of Chili and buns. Along with some sarsaparilla!

Here are a couple videos of the Crawler running. First one you will see an orange rod moving back and forth. This is pump pumping gas directly into the intake manifold for gas operation to warm the engine up. In the second video you will see the rod is not moving anymore and the engine is running on diesel only. It didn't sound any different on gas or diesel!

Gears and shafts for the American are being sourced and should arrive in a few months. The transmission case is complete Brodie says it will be running this fall, but grandpa (Kenny) is not as confident.
