Default 7kw Wisconsin powered Dayton generator

The S14-D engine from Wisconsin started production in '68. I've a shot at buying a propane powered 7kw genset in super shape. Price is a little high but usage is very low. It looks to be a heavy duty unit and obviously has a heavy duty engine and large diameter gen unit.
Is this unit worth the investment or is it just another white elephant whereby parts would become the limiting factor?
thanks, all
