Default Need help identifying an early unmarked brass carburetor

There are a lot of file marks on one side so maybe it did have a name on it at one time. Under the top it says 0 23A . It sort of looks like schebler but I could not find one that has the same down draft inlet cast into the side of it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
