Default Bedford 500 Turbo MT Engine - question

Bedford 500 Turbo MT Engine (bus) Factory built turbo Distinction - 8 bolt fly wheel, rear seal is lip type bolted onto back of engine, minimech (CAV) mline fuel pump. Need to know degrees BTDC that number 1 piston injects (or measurements)

Currently on the flywheel there is two marks 00 top dead centre and 31 degree mark, these are not correct.

Does anyone have any information about this please or know someone who could provide this?

Default Re: Bedford 500 Turbo MT Engine - question

Had a look in my manual and it does not give the timing in degrees. It just says to line up the pump pointer with the mark on the coupling. Then the mark on the flywheel should be in line with the pointer on the clutch housing. Send me a pm and I can send you the couple of pages but it won't tell you much more than that. 31 deg sounds about right.
