Default Estate Sale Steam Engines

I was looking through some estate sale listings, and I noticed this photo in a local sale. (picture 1) It looks like a Stuart D10 on the top shelf, and maybe a Weeden and 2 others on the 3rd shelf. Also on the 3rd shelf there is some type of cutaway model of what looks like a differential behind the Weeden.

I went to the sale, and the Stuart, the Weeden and the cutaway model were already gone, but I did come home with the other 2 Steam engines on the 3rd shelf.

First is a Jensen model 35 which looks like it has never been run.
(pictures 2, 3 and 4)

Second is a Mamod which I will continue in a 2nd post.

The 2nd Steam engine I brought home is this small Mamod, which must have been some type of promotional piece from Monsanto. It came in the box as shown in photo 1. When you lift the box off, the sides fold down to reveal the engine and promotional info. as well as the instructions under the engine. I have only seen 1 other example of this set on the Mamod forum.

This engine has been steamed at least once, as there was a lime deposit on the safety valve.

Nice finds! I can't recall ever seeing a Mamod like that, but I don't follow Mamod engines like I do Jensens. Your 35 looks like a very nice example and probably dates from around 1950.

Nice finds!

I have seen a few of the Monsanto pieces made by Mamod for Monsanto as gifts.

I have the same engine with that box. Not much info on them though.
