Default Twin City KT water pump

I have a 1931 KT and the water pump is completely shot. Does anyone have or know of one that could replace mine?

I was curious if a water pump from an early 1 piece block U Moline would fit?

Thanks

I'm in West Central Minnesota, close to Alexandria. If that helps any. I used to get up your way when I was in the National Guard.

Pump shaft is different as KT uses for mag drive. U uses a brass impeller with left hand thread. KT uses packing and nut. U has rubber seal. Nothing is the same. Have some KT pump parts but under 3 ft of snow.

When the snow melts if you could take a look for the KT parts, it would be appreciated. I am told that we are going back into the deep freeze here in Western Minnesota.

What happened to your water pump that makes it irreparable?

It has been sitting and rusting away for as many years as I have known about the tractor and longer. There was a repair date on the inside of the magneto that said April of 1945. I am not sure what happened or how the tractor ended up in an one running condition, I do know so far that 3 of the 4 connecting rods are bent.

Conn rods are same as U up until KEF motor in 1940.KE 376B Rod bearings same also (KE383) babbited. Pistons, block and head also same up until twin block U in 1948. Manifold same until until 1941. Early KT had different manifold.
Just double checked in books and no waterpump parts are same.

If your water pump isn't cracked or broken it could probably be repaired. It looks like a pretty straightforward assembly.

Know there is something in the pump that is to make or find. Sold some pump parts to a fellow collector in TX.

I am in East Central MN I have a parts KTA that is not in a terrible snow bank it had the KEA engine on it. I have removed the parts from it for my KTA. The Water pump is still attached and I know some one who has new old stock water pump bushings.

The engine is semi complete but it is stuck. I do have the head, push rods and Rocker arms for it as well.

If you want it I will sell the whole thing, the steering wheel and the F&H rear wheels are no longer on this hulk.
