Default Eyes for animal heads

Some guys like making animal heads (and, of course, the whole animal too) out of metal. Making the eyes is almost an art in itself sometimes.
I used to make them in several steps, sometimes with pupils in the eyes and sometimes not.
A few years ago a really good blacksmith in our area helped me make a set of eye punches with the pupil built in.
Last week our local club (The Badger Blacksmiths in western Wisconsin) held their annual conference and I was reminded of the article I had written about making those eye punches.
