Default Found a Wilesco D200 Nuclear Steam Plant

at an engine show . I was wandering down the back side of an engine display aisle, and saw a couple of steam models on the back of a trailer “for sale”. After some pleasantries, I asked for his best price. He told me X $’s for both, the Wilesco D200 Nuclear Steam Plant, and the M56 work shop. I just said OK. It was an unusually nice find of a rare piece. They both just need to be cleaned up a bit, and given some TLC. It was another "FUN" day, even in NJ on the way through as the days and evenings get cooler .

It is even Nuclear powered. Like the old original cloth cord. Lucky in NJ you can run it about 40% of the time on real Nuclear Power.

I work at a two unit nuke plant, and have a couple of linemar nuclear plants. These Wilesco's look a lot nicer, though.

I took my D200 to the local engine club meeting last night as part of my "show - N - Tell" , when I go. It sure got a few of the folks all wound up, as did some of my other, "interesting stuff", that I brought along , just to share .

Get them from a cancer doctor. Those seeds or needles they use to implant for cancer treatment. Not sure how to get around the physics of generating enough neutrons from so little fuel.

Nice meeting you at the Delaware Valley show Paul. My dad and I had fun with that D-200, I am glad it now has a good new home! Enjoy
