Default New guy from Illinois

Hello, I'm a retired refrigeration tech with more time than money. I do help a friend manage a cattle ranch, which is more fun than work. I have a small machine shop in my barn, and have just finished making my first internal combustion engine. I have been very curious about these hit and miss engines and was planning on making one from a casting set, but instead bought a non running Fuller and Johnson from a man in Wisconsin. This site has a lot of good information, and I looking forward to using it ,and hopefully making some new friends.

It's broke in now and will start with the flick of the wrist.

Welcome to the Stak.

You're not too awful far away from Freeport

Along with our Threshing Show in August we also have several other open dates at the Silvercreek Museum with the clubs Silver Creek & Stephenson Rail Road across the street from it. Kind of winding down for the year, but start up again Memorial Day weekend.

www.thefreeportshow.com

Usually have a few antique cars show up each time we're open at the RR along with the occasional tractor and/or engine.
