Default Swedish American Telephone Co toy steam engine

Hi,
I'm new here and have many things to post and ask questions about so I guess I will start with something small and easy to photograph.
Just this week, I won 4 model steam engines on an on-line auction , one of which I found rather interesting. Attached are 3 photos of a Swedish American Telephone Co toy "steam" engine. The piston is actually electrically actuated but in appearance, it simulates the action of a real engine rather well. It is quite small with a fly wheel of only 1.77" OD. and an OAL of 3.43". It is in Quite nice condition with no rust or corrosion and has most original finish. The heavy stamped base is embossed as listed and pictured.
I had heard of the company before and their phones but I have been unable to come up with anything on this "toy".

Anyone out there know anything about it?

Rick

Rick , Here is an older listing from E-Bay , where one sold , not much more info than what you already have . Interesting little engine though .

Good find! I have several solenoid motors that look like steam engines , but have never heard of that one. Ron
