Eastern North Cackilacky (greenville, NC). Funny thing, I always figured i'd have to move out west to get into big time engine country. I guess that all the engines are in PA, OH, and Indiana, and the other half is in Funk, NE. I wish I had become a farmer in NE rather than an engineer in NC so I'd have some more engines...who knew!?

Sothwestern Ontario Canada - 100 miles west of Buffalo NY and 140 miles East of Detroit Michigan. And no we don't have Polar Bears here, nor is there any snow left to go skiing. Larry.

Rumson NJ,about 25 miles due South of NYC and about 22 miles E-N-E of Paul who's having all kinds of fun

That pin point map sounds like a good idea! Anyway to work it thru Google Earth? You can add your own points of interest but don't know how much data you can store at each point that you place. That would be something to clik on a members name and have it swoop right up to you.

How about breaking it down by areas of the us? I appreciate the numbers, but would also be interested in southeast v. northeast v. southwest v. "breadbasket" v. northwest, etc

Thanks for a great project!

Bill

Chris,
If you download the "free" version of "Google Earth" then look thru the menu on the left you'll see where you can add your own "points of intrest"! If you know someone's address you can see their house.. This is a good feature in some ways and bad in other ways! Some of the members out West live in realy remote places where you see a house with nothing else around for miles.
Would love to be able to walk out my back door and shoot a 30.06 without fear of hitting anyone or anything except maybe that big buck deer that's been eating my corn crop out in the back 40.
