Got a visit today from pattern maker! He delivered the flywheel patterns. They are split patterns, plain wheel and pin wheel, (4) patterns. Fairly large patterns,
John

ps, they will be at the foundry today!

Hey John,

I bet you wish you had access to the new machine that Jay Leno has in his garage for making patterns by just scanning the parts into the computer and it spits out a part.

Awesome project john! Just the other day I was wondering why people withfoundries or CNC mills/lathes don't reproduce engines, not scaled engine but fullsized ones. Good luck on the rest of your engine!

Although I understand the reason John, I'm not sure I could take a bandsaw to that new cylinder casting. Looking good!

John: What a project. I've been watching as you build. I can do some things, but this would be for me. We do what we can with what we have . Thanks you for keeping us up to date on the progress .
