Default Bedford Model 1500 Air Cooled

Picked this up at an auction today, it is a Bedford Model 1500 1.5HP, Serial 1432. It was the reason I went to the auction, looks like a clinton, but a few differences, I have seen other clinton knock-offs but never a bedford... anyone know anything about it?

A little more information on this engine, it is a really poorly done patent infringement of a Clinton. It was built by the Indiana Limestone Company and was a rather short production as Clinton just having won their suite against Cauffiel jumped right on this one and production stopped. I read somewhere wantonly around 1500 where made. This one runs, as you can see but has governor linkage issues that need worked out. It is rated at 1.5 hp at 3200rpm. The blue smoke is not bad rings, whenever I first start an engine that has sat for years (as this appeared to have) I use 40:1 pre mix to make sure everything is well lubricated
