Default 1958, Onan 5.0 CCK 110/230, enclosed, Value?

Surfing the local craigslist this evening and found what I decoded as a 1958, 5.0CCK 3RV.
Here are the numbers:
model and spec: 5CCK-3RV/1299D
serial number: 108B597687
It is in an Onan made steel enclosure with Onan fuel tank, volt meter and amp meter on each leg. It is also mounted to a professionally manufactured pintel hitch, 2 wheel trailer and it was owned by the phone company. Not currently running. Guy wants $350. I'm thinking $150-$200????

If it is one of Onan,s little 2 wheeled trailers like I am familiar with & in decent condition, the trailer is worth $350 if you have a use for it. At 40+ years old, I would not put too much stock in the meter panel though if they all work that adds value in my book. There is a good chance the fuel tank is very rusty inside. You can always replace the gen-set with a newer one.

Same old story, what is it worth to you?

Most phone company units are very low hour ones. If the trailer is an old Onan one. It is worth that much without the genset. They are getting rare. Most likely it just needs some cleaning up.

Went to go look at it today. The owners wife showed it to me. It is painted yellow right now but under the yellow is that olive drab green the phone company used when I was a kid in the Los Angeles area. It belonged to Pacific Telephone.
The generator turns but hasn't run in a LONG time. The fuel tank is clean.
The guy just called me back...JUST now. I bought it for $275.

10-4..... I dragged it home last night on its own wheels. My neighbor had a pintle hitch.... His Son found it a few months ago on the side of the road! I'll get some today and post them. Kind of a time capsule.
