hello all new hear my name is martin Hicks. i had a belt pulley for a Cat Sixty to witch my sixty is not in running condition so i drop it off Clyde and he was able to get my belt pull in to operation and he made a coupler up for it to do a little testing on his old sixty. this was just a first run we think we can get a little more out of her but she did way better than i thought. she was work for 6 year after the motor rebuild / hod roding pulling a scraper with a cc unit on the back before retirement in the 60's. we where just on pump gas with ethanol in it plus a few other small things need look at like the blow by we where getting. place your guess then go watch the video and see how close you where? the video was edit for time and viewing pleasure. i sure Clyde or Lyle will chime in with some more info about the old girl.

Hi Martin, I recognize you from ACMOC. ..I'm sure others will too, there's a lot of overlap... Glad you were able to help Clyde exercise the 60.

since its getting old now you may be able to make a few new reproductions off that original one.
Do the casting machining etc, put the word out to AMMOC or CAT boards to see you may get some takers on a deal.

It helps out the fellow members and give back to others, sometimes not to the same person, but community.

Spares are sometimes hard to find.
