Default old hobart welder

hi guys, just wanted to get yall's take on this.a friend has offered me the above , it has a inline 2 cylinder wiscosin on it.the problem it has been sitting out in the edge of the woods, a lot of stuff has grew up around it . so we will have to clean up around it to move it. it's FREE. so i don't belive i should pass it up.would you offer him any $$$ for it?do you think it's worth the trouble?haven't seen it so know if i can turn the engine over.it would be a project!

FREE is good. Even for an unknown I'd offer $100 just to placate my conscience. Definately take it. Worst case it's good for parts.

THANKS for the reply. i thought the same thing,when he said we need to clean out the brush my heart sank. but i've seen worse run again.
