Default Weldan power g8000

I have a lincoln weldanpower g8000 the problem I'm having is that it does not charge the battery and also if it sits for over a week something drains the battery . It has the 16 hp onan engine that runs great . Any help would be appreciated !

Not sure what could be draining the battery. As I recall there are no relays that could stick, everything's electronic. I have a G8000 also. A few years ago I lost all weld and aux power output. I found a burnt spade connector on one of the bridge rectifiers. Replaced it and all was well. I assume you can manually charge the battery and start the unit. Do you have aux and weld power? I'd check all the connections on the circuit board(s) make sure nothing's loose, broken, burnt etc. Here's a couple of links that may help as well.

Yes I can boost it off to start it and yes I have welding and aux. power . I just printed off the manuals so maybe I can troubleshoot it .
