Default IHC Corn binder

I just picked up another IHC corn binder. It's missing the middle chains on the take-up boards. Are IH binder chains hard to find?

Does it have the old cast iron chain or has it been converted to the new? I have to pick up two parts machines. If you are not in a hurry I know they have most of the cast chains on them.

I need a twine can just like that in the photo. My propane delivery guy used my binder for target practice with his truck (

I don't think there was a good twine can but I will check. It may be a couple weeks before I get them.

No hurry, I think they are cast iron, but not sure. It has greese cups instead of zerks. I got it off of a Mennonite neighbor. It has been used fairly recently so the chains may not be original. I'll take either, but prefer the original equipment - cast iron chains.

I will let you know when I get them. I am waiting for a fella to deliver them and pick up some other stuff that I have and he wants. When I talked to him a little while ago he said it may be two or three weeks before we can coordinate our schedules.
