Default 25-40 Rumley

Ive been trying to get this 25-40 rumley since the early 80s. The owner finaly decided hes not going to do anything with it so he donated it to our museum. He thinks the last time it was running was about 1956.

It doesn't appear as though the previous owner kept the vitals covered up to exclude the weather and the criters. The restoration might take a little longer but still fun.

Complete with extensions. Don't see that as often as without. Looks like fun. Keep us up to date with progress Wayne.

Don't you love it when they let them get good & deteriorated before they finally turn loose?

It's more like archeology when found that way. Sad but fun adventure.

We found a Titan that way some years ago, aside from being stuck and missing a few parts it wasn't that bad. I would sure welcome it to our club grounds.

We are going to get it home in the next week or so. Once I get it to the shop I'll see what surprises await Bill and I.

Yesterday we went and took the front axel brace and steering linkage off and the clamp from cente of the axel for repair so we can steer it when we pull the tractor out. Today we got the braces straightend out a bit tomorrow I will weld the end mount back on. We got the steering linkages loosend up but the one mounting bolt is broke off. Il have to build a taperd bolt and weld back on. Ive never turned a taper on the lathe so Ive been watching utube videos. Have to give it a try.
