Default Henry C Schaadt

We lost a member in our local engine community. I knew Henry for about 12yrs. He was a very nice man and I was fortunate to meet him and buy my 1st steam engine from him. RIP Henry! A Good man.

Henry C. Schaadt, 63, of Easton, passed away in his home on May 22, 2018 following a long illness. Born April 19, 1955 in Easton, he was a son of the late James L. Sr. and Jean Zimmerman Schaadt.

Henry was a graduate of Easton High School, class of 1973. He worked for Carlon, in the quality control department, for over 30 years before retiring on disability.

He enjoyed bluegrass music, collecting antiques especially old phonographs and was the proud owner of several antique automobiles. He was a member of the Valley Forge Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution.

Henry is survived by two brothers; James L. Schaadt Jr. and his wife Sandra of Bushkill Twsp. and his twin David Schaadt of Easton.

Friends are invited to a viewing on Tuesday evening May 29, 2018 from 6-8pm and Wednesday May 30, 2018 from 10-11am in the Schmidt Funeral Home, PC, 407 Belvidere St. Nazareth. A funeral service will follow at 11am with Pastor Bob Gutekunst presiding. Henry will be laid to rest in Easton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be offered in Henry’s name to the Blue Mt.
