Very early CAST BRASS ID Motor Rheostat by The Elektron Electric out of Springfield, MASS..

This is really quite a early rheostat and must have been for very small type electrical motors for speed control. When ever you see a heavy cast bronze id tag on a item, you can be pretty sure it is very early..
