I stopped in to Visit Kenny on the way to Mississippi for thanksgiving a year and a half ago. The American looks impressive! Kenny will do a good job of it too! Unusual tractor!

Neither snow nor rain nor wind nor gloom of night stays these friends from the annual gathering at Hall Construction at Fillmore Sk. By Carolyns count 28 friends showed up to visit, look at literature, trade parts, look at the latest projects. They where from British Columbia, Alberta, Saskachewan, Manitoba, Montana, North Dakota, Minnisota. 23 stayed and had supper with us at the local restaurant. 5 left early----- One with the feeble excuse He had to play in a krokeanole? tournament. Thank you to the whole gang for a very enjoyable weekend. Clyde, Carolyn, and Lyle.

I have been slipping! Almost a whole year since my last post from Clydes! I stopped in the other day to see what was up and to check on progress on the Flour City engine from Crosby. Of course I was not disappointed! They were preparing the Flour City cylinders for boring and sleeving. The Crankshaft was not out yet but the babbit in the Rods is good. They will get the rest of the engine apart soon for full examination. The valve seat inserts had come loose on the exhaust valves and were floating in their holes! The transmission will also get a going over at the same time. Clyde and Lyle will do a bang up job and have the engine ready for us to put back in the tractor in no time. This tractor was one of the first tractors the Crosby show obtained. The plan is to have it running for the 50th show this summer. July 19, 20, 21. 2019.

Also waiting outside with snow on its feet was a customers 22-45 Altman Taylor which will see some shop time soon as well!

Took a Road trip to pick up the Aultmann-Taylor 22-45 and haul it to its new home, pretty decent lettering left on it!

Talked with the old lad the other night. He said it was -52 with the windchill in downtown Fillmore. I suggested that was a nice dry cold and he told me to do something to myself that is not physically possible.
We may have to take up a collection to get him a load of wood for the shop stove!

Another Flour City update. Cylinders were getting bored. Heads are repaired and Planed. I forgot pictures of them! I have attached a few photos. Carburetor is done. Cam is being fitted.

I stopped in for a quick visit last week! Here is a photo update of the Flour City project for the tractor in Crosby.

Crankcase is assembled. Heads are ready. Pistons are waiting for cylinders which should be ready shortly. Then final assembly can start. Trans and Clutch have been worked over!

Great workmanship, but it looks like the olde lad needs a good rinse and polish.

I asked him about that very thing! I think he is going to give Lyle a run for the money in the Whisker dept!

I stopped at Clydes for a quick Flour City update. The engine is about done just small details to be take care of. Like decompression valve linkage, lifting lugs etc. All the oil piping is new and fresh!

Another bang up Job coming from Clydes shop!

By the way his razor seems to still be broken!

Take a couple of cans of Gillette's Foamy and two or three straight razors. Better take the medicated Foamy cause there could be some nicks if that growth is too heavy.
You maybe should tidy up the other lad too.
