Thank you for the photos Ed, and THANK YOU Dudley and Nikki for all the work you put into sharing this fabulous history lesson with us. It was great catching up with some of my old friends and finally getting to meet Ed Dina (though very briefly - he was a busy guy that day).
The Kinnard-Haines was amazing. Hard to believe it is the same tractor I saw last fall. Dudley's crew did a fantastic job. Thanks again to you all.

Post no. 8: If you're only going to have one steamer, a Huber is the one to have!
Thanks for all of the pictures, Ed and thanks to Dudley, Nikki and crew for making them available.

Thank you all for the kind words. Thank you also for the correction on the Hanomag. The Spring Tractor Show and Farm Open House was sure was a big time. We are so glad for those of you who were able to get here. There are 874 autographs in the book but I feel sure there were at least 1,200 people on the grounds throughout the day. I am copying files for resizing. I have more pics from Saturday than Sunday. Sunday consists more of videos than my 57 pics as I was running about, but Mom came to my rescue with 992 for me to peruse.

The info I have on the Avery RoTrack follows:
Year: 1938
Make: Avery
Model: Ro-Track
Serial Number? BG 18
HP: 22
Cylinder(s): 6 (Hercules QXB5)
Bore & Stroke: 3-1/4 x 4-1/8-inch
Weight: 5,700

Please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. Thanks for being such a stellar group of folks.

All of the serial numbers on my list start with BT and a 4-digit number starting with 8. Ours is BT8385. The serial number should be stamped on the top of the right frame rail, just in front of the brake. I'm just trying to determine if this is one I already have on my list.
Thanks!

Brenda S,

She came from a Nixon Auction in Indiana according to the records. Serial #BT 8315

Thank you kindly for your assistance!! There's one more serial number for the book.

I'm gonna guess NO.....

Just saw that movie again not that long ago. Never gave it a thought it would have been popular over there.

Looks like a pretty good turnout for the open house. Wish I could have been there, but at least we have the pictures to drool over.

You may have noticed but I've not mastered replying on YouTube. I was in Hospitality I most of the day but wasn't missing my chance to ride since the crowd stabilized. All the tractors you see, except the one on the low boy behind Barn 6, are Dudley's. The nuns are from the Abbey not far from here. There were A LOT of people here. Bear with me as I get better at video edits. I need to cut out a few interesting comments before I can post.

Why? The interesting comments are called color commentary!

That Rotrak coming from Indiana means it is probably the one that used to come to NTA every year when I was a kid. Good to know where it went!

That was a nice way of saying I'm learning how to remove cursing. Sometimes, the chug, chug, chug is not loud enough to mask the @$<#}+*!!

Yes. And we are not responsible for what others say. Just because we may not speak that way doesn't mean it doesn't happen. I have been known to let a %*#@ fly once in a while.

Also, this is a very nice collection of tractors. Some very nice pictures. Thank you!

The RoTrak that I've seen at NTA several times lives in Michigan. As of last summer, it was still there. Don't know if this one was ever there or not.

Not sure what the market is for brochures and such, but here is on that site. Not related at all. Sorry to derail the thread, just thought someone may be interested seeing as the topic came up.

I feel sure Dudley (and my grandfather if he were still alive) would not appreciate me uttering such words on the internet.

I am a little behind but I'll get back on track with fun from the show.. Happy Father's Day to all of you out there.

Is there another tractor extravaganza or other event scheduled at the DD Living History Farm?
