Default Technical Manual Needed

Fellow Smostakkers, do any of you know where I may find a copy of this T.M.? It surely would be a lot easier to restore my generator in a proficient military manner with the help of one. Here is a photo of the front cover of the T.M.

Hi Dave,
If Portrayal Press no longer can supply a copy, I would contact Francois Dames in South Africa, as he published a rebuild starting back in 2008. There is also a German? group that shows a listing as well as a listing on radio nerds. However, neither has a direct link to order. Best of luck. If you need someone that can supply parts for your Eismann mag without giving you grief about it being an "aircraft" part, give me a post.

There is/was a fellow named Igor Chudov who has/had a website full of old manuals among other things. His site was a real treasure trove of information. The last time I looked I could not find him though. Maybe if you search you will have better luck. And if that's not enough all of his information was FREE to download and as I recall the copy quality was first-rate.

I have a PE-197 ( which I need to get rid of) which has the same engine. You might search for a PE-197 manual.

Hi guys and thanks to ALL for the awesome tips. I have tried most already without any luck. I sent a Gmail to Portrayal Press and am awaiting a return correspondence. I will try the Library of Congress with a more descriptive note.
I will look for the P.E. 197 T.M. and hope for the best. The difference between the two is that the 197 is 6.3 KW and the E-3 is only 3 KW.

You might try posting in steelsoldiers, the military vehicle forum, in the auxiliary equipment section. There are some very knowledgeable and helpful folks there, some who worked on older sets when in the military.
