Default Need 017A Exciter

I need the exciter for my 017a. A wire is broke on it. Nsn number is 6115-00-021-3329. Hope someone out there can help. Thanks

I'd probably look to the SX460 regulators as a replacement. Much has been written on them:

hello Jim...its not the voltage regulator that i am looking for..it is the wound exciter rotor...it mounts at the very end of the armature....i do have the sx460 though...it does a great job....the nsn number for the wound exciter is 6115-00-021-3329

Oh - not sure then. I'd start with eBay or Saturn Surplus.
