Default 1940s ex-military Federal Firetruck Coming Home

Just a scrumptious front grille and sheetmetal.
I’m thinking maybe a car carrier??
You just don’t see Federal Trucks very much. You had to have $$$$. Like a gov’t agency.
Thanks again to the Boyajian Brothers!

An excellent project. Especially if you stuff one of those huge 1000 CI Hall Scott 6 cylinder gas engines in it. Just forget about the 3 mpg you'll get with it.

Original Engine is low miles but stuck. Hard to know what it will take to fix. Repower is likely since repair parts are hard to find.

I think they were fellows that ran a old auto salvage yard, famous for saving every thing and had hundreds of vehicles from way back in stock and still willing to sell?

Yes, I own it.
John and Mike Boyajian are great friends and collectors who live in the town where I work.
This Federal was purchased at an auction and “saved” for me while I got my head out and paid them.
Again, great friends. They are on this forum.
