Default 8-16 Cylinder head numbers

I have a chance to purchase a cylinder head for my International 8-16, it is an IC 1922 model. The head im looking at has a number 7868-TB but my book says it should be a 4091-DC. Do these interchange at all? Im kinda stuck at work right now and not sure what to do.

I think I got it, finally found my repairs catalogue, jumped the gun a little bit.
7136T 1917-1919
7968T 1919-1920
7968TA 1921
7968TB 1921-1222
7968TC 1921-1222
7968TD 1922

The 4091 casting numbers must be replacement heads.
My head is number 7968TC and the head im looking into replacing it with is number 7968TB which would be an earlier casting but should fit the IC series engine. Im not sure it still has the same spark plug size but I think it should.
Looking through the parts repairs catalogue on the 8-16 you can really see the changes IH went through on these and near as I can tell its all in the castings on the late heads. The plant must have been running in all directions during manufacture, two different castings assembled in the same two years,7968TB and TC, 1921-1922.

Any chance the 'squish' areas are different? That would change compression pressure. Shape of combustion chamber different? That would change fuel consumption and possibly detonation characteristics. Obviously, there was a design change of some kind. Were both heads made simultaneously or was there a mid year change?

That assembly line must have been a nightmare. Three engine changes in 3 years.
