Default Info wanted on Marine engine by Auto-Magic Mach. Co, Bridgeport, CT

I picked up this unusual reversing four-cycle, two cylinder marine engine over the weekend made by the Auto-Matic Machine Co. Looking for details of the mechanism to operate the ignitors. She has some water jacket damage on one cylinder which is repairable. Anyone have any manuals or other diagrams showing how the ignitor trips operate. Bore and stroke are 5.5”x8”.

Nice find Paul, no info on it but I would like to see the reversing mechanism if you can post it. I have the Fisherman, the ad says it's the only reversible 4 stroke, this is the fourth manufacturer I've seen with a reversible 4 stroke.

It looks like you have a 12 hp twin cylinder marine engine. Reieson machine co. Of Portland Oregon shows the Automatic avalible from 6hp up to 150hp or larger. I am the proud owner of a 12 1/2 hp 1 cylinder hoist engine. They also offered there engines with a direct mounted light plant. Do you have a photo of the ignitor side of your engine ?
