Default Oilfield Engines on the I-10 highway...

Last week I left Mobile,Al and headed to Waycross, Ga to work on another jobsite, while cruising I-10 in Florida I came across these engines setting along a fence row and stopped on the way back and took a few pics. Anyone seen them before?

I can say I am fairly certain one is a Reid. If I had to guess on the others?? At least one other looks really familiar but cannot place the name. I am sure someone will chime in on what they are. Honestly I am surprized they have not been snaped up or scrapped that close to the highway. I have heard aout iron theives going to alot more troble to steal iron. Just figured the other out I believe its a Bessemer though I could be wrong. The others are too far off to tell though I suspect Skidmore or someone will chime in with an ID.

These engines are not far out of Tallahassee, Fl. Next time I get the chance to mash my motor over that way I will stop and get better pics.

I attended a small swap meet there a couple of years ago. The guy that owns the place is a hobbyist and the engines are on display rather than stored.

At that time he had several cars displayed along the fence line also.

I know where these engines are located. I think the owner has or used to have a show at this place. If I recall correctly, he also owns the antique car museum in town. Someone from this area will have to correct me if I am not correct.

Thank you

The engine beside the sign is a south penn halfbreed on an Erie City steam bedplate, notice the flywheel spokes don't line up. Rod here on the Stak probably sold these engine a few years back.

There is an antique car museum on the backside of the property. I think the one sign says the next exit. Have been to the museum and it is nice. It sets off the highway several hundred feet.
