Doug offered it to me 3yrs ago for 1500 for my son to learn on. Didn't have spare $$$ at the time with taxes due. Smack me silly on that one.

When we saved up for it Doug passed away at that time. Miss the guy, knew him for over 30yrs and never had a bad thing to say about him. Used to meet up with him a few times each year for lunch and a gab session.

There only a few of the large engines brought any money at all. Did the rest go to scrapers? Ron

Paul, were any engines at the auction running? All the engines listed on the site you posted say "AS IS, NOT RUNNING". A lot of them sure went cheap!

I hope the Jones engines didn't go to a scraper. I'd like to have the pulley if usable so if you bought the engine then PM me.

I watched a video on you tube and I couldn't believe all the Delco light plants there. I imagine most went to scrap cause not many people collect these. That is also the most Delco 4 cylinder engines Ive ever seen. Wish I would of went. Sure could of used some Superior parts too.

Well, my crank (35hp) journals are rusted down pretty far and I guess they could be welded up and turned down but I have been looking around here for a replacement that would be possibly cheaper. Also the inside rear of the cylinder is cracked half way around. Thanks
