Default B F Avery & Sons Wrenches - Steam-Related, Gas-Related or Equipment-Related?

For lack of a better place, I'm posting this here. I happened on 2 B F Avery & Sons wrenches and I wanted to know what they were used on/for. The larger one is 18" long and has the casting numbers E1014; the smaller is 10" long and has J 97.

Thanks for any help.

B F Avery was an implement manufacturer in Louisville KY. They made a fairly full line of horse drawn equipment and I imagine your wrenches are from a cultivator or similar piece of equipment. They also sold tractors built for them with their name applied and towards the end bought the model GG tooling from Cletrac and built it as the B F Avery Model A. I think they became part of Minneapolis Moline.

They are not related in any way to the Avery Company of Peoria IL who built steam traction engines, threshing machines and early gas tractors.

FWIW, I was just at the B F Avery plant this week. Most of it has been repurposed into other businesses.
