Hi Josh, The 12 hp has a 7 1/2 " bore, the 13 hp has a 8" bore, the flywheel dia.( 58 " ) and the stroke (12") are the same on the 12 and 13 hp engines. What are the casting numbers on the side of your engine (down below The Ball name), it should be something like 2 A 20 ?

Hi, This is Josh's wife, he's still at work so I went out and looked at the ball it says 4B20. I think I'm just as excited to get this thing restored as he is. Can't wait to hear the old thing run!

WOW ! A Wife that Loves ENGINES ! Living in that house or garage must be like being in Heaven ! That is Great ! I was expecting you to say something like 4 A 20, not 4 B 20, now you have thrown me for a loop. I don't even know what the numbers mean yet, but I have found that a 13 hp has 3 A 20, a 20 hp has 9 A 20 and a 25 hp has 10 A 20 cast on the side below the name. I'm looking in the book for more information on this B.

Talk to you more later

HAHAHAHA! Believe me I wasn't into it at first. But I've come to get really interested. Actually my sis and I are looking for hog oilers because we want to start our own collection so we can have Josh build us a trailer and we can go to shows and show our very own stuff that we did! Not that I'm not going to help Josh with this old engine but I figured it would be something fun and nice for me and my sis to get into so If you have a lead on any of those or you can help us figure out this "B" thing it would be much appreciated. P.S. I'll go out in the garage today and take some pictures so you can see it.=) Thanks, Sara
