I found this thread about a month ago. The work you have done is outstanding! I am not a machinist but I can see what you have done. Good to know that this kind of know how still exists. My hat is off to you sir.

Motivation? more like avocation. Made reid models, had reid engines,enjoyed the mechanical simplicity but technical complexity of the design. Plus I never was considered too bright!!! lol

Am machining hand hole covers and exhaust flange for the 4hp reids. I have to plig the top cover stud holes, they are too far off center( these have to be very straight, in plain sight).
Will keep you informed.
