Machined up the babbit relief on a set of lower rod bearings!
Note the dovetail locking feature.

Finished machining the the lower rod bearings today, Next step is to make a fixture to hold while babbit is poured to them.

I will be bringing the con rods for the 4hp REID to the swap meet at portland if you'd like to see.
Pics of the machining of bedplate, hope to have two bedplates to bring home from cool springs.
