My guess is it's from a Bean engine.

Bean was a spray pump outfit that made their own engines.

Ok, i just checked the Bean sprayer engines and also the cushman cub bean engines and neither one has this same trip setup.

I saw thet bracket in the first post. It looks like it might be a factory retro fit for some unknown engine, or it came with a rare engine to begine with. I saw a Wico EK bracket on a Fairbanks Morse one time.
