Default Taree Show

We went to our local Agricultural show last Saturday. It was a small display but everyone got asked a lot of questions about everything and they showed a big interest in what was there. Here are a couple of Truck/s
The Halfinger was in good shape and the big Merc was too. Never knew about the tray on the Merc being mounted on a cradle that pivots and keeps the tray level and is connected to the rear suspension.
Even Lorry got his side profile in the pic of the Halfinger head on!

Hello Cobba
I took a Haflinger for a drive in the mid 90's. Slow as a wet week but, bloody Nora, could that thing climb and go over stuff.

Cheers Scott
PS: Anymore pictures?

Yes Scotty, more pics to come. Been tied up with too much work and sorting out some legal stuff. IF I pull my finger out tomorrow I will put up the tractors and then some engines.

The Haflinger sports quite a few rally badges, so has been around a bit.

It has done a lot of miles all right. I think it should have another sign saying "I've been everywhere man".
Well here are some tractors.
The little Allis B is a work in progress and knowing the owner nothing will be spared to make it look perfect. The MF30 French made model is a beautiful example but was not playing by the rules for a cold start up mid afternoon. As for the DB, what can I say other than it's ours and we love it.

More tractors
The McCormick and Nuffield are owned by the same man and live close to the show ground so they both were driven there. The 2 TEA20 tractors came up from the Hunter Vally Club and thanks for bringing them and the big Merc.

Time for some engines.
The owner of the Farm Pumper cleverly designed a can crusher and works almost flawlessly. Notice the HT lead on it, barbed wire.
The Sundial just runs and runs all day as does the little B&S running a generator with a light globe and at fairly low revs.

Next lot,
A Monitor that runs so smoothly the owner has put many hours into timing and fuel set ups. The Kohler lighting plant has 2 water cooled engines that can run and put out a lot of light at one time. The trailer is an over kill but he carries other toys on it at the same time so it is handy that way. The Lister is a cold start 6 hp and runs all day until he noticed his flywheel was moving out from the engine. IT was shut down and the problem was he had put grease on the gibb key, wiped clean and refitted and all was good. The model hit n miss never had a run and was under a plastic cover most of the time due to showers but I have seen it run and again it runs nicely.
