They can muck with ITU region 1 all they want.. Ham bands are already smaller there than here.

I've been fearing this for a long time. As population balloons, technology advances, and more of the existing population embraces more technology, ALL resources are placed under strain.

In debating whether we yanks should sign the petition (yes?), it does appear that the proposal to study the reallocation of the band could initially cross regional lines It'll be the global aspect such as satellite usage that (hopefully) sinks it.
