Photo Honesdale, PA Auction, July 12, Steam & Gas Engines of Museum of Mechanical Antiques

Selling at Big Bear Farm on July 12, 2014:

A collection of seldom offered items from the late 19th and early 20th centuries in their natural state.

Steam Engines including larger 2 cylinder Marine with reverse, steam donkey winch, the usual lifelong accumulation of gauges, lubricators etc.

Also gas engines, Crosley Farm-to-Road, Vermont Central wooden caboose, 1200 lb. anvil, and much more including water powered, musical & amusement, lighting, blacksmithing, horse-drawn, electrical, railroad, and mining.

Anyone from western PA want to come along for the ride. I will be taking a trailer. Can haul 3000lbs give or take. I plan on leaving Friday the 11th and staying at a nearby hotel.

It would be nice to have measurements for the so-called 1200 lbs anvil. Length and width of the face is enough and really needed here.

That 1200 stamping is not a fisher marking. The "50" is the Fisher marking for 500 pounds. The auction company should really get this right.
