Thought I would post a few prices from the John Ritter Sale Yesterday Most engines where painted up and on homemade carts, Attendence was Moderate The highest bid number I heard was 154. There was a good deal of New and Used parts as well coils,mufflers,hand tools,oilers.

2 1/2 Hp Galloway Restored on cedar cart with gear reduction unit (Very NICE!) restored correctly! $755.00

3 Hp Vertical Schmidts Chilled Cylinder Restored on cart $1050.00

New Way vertical (2 1/2hp ?) $650.00

4 Hp Sta Rite Painted on steel cart $850.00

3 Hp Domestic on cart tank cooled $2700.00

Busy Boy Associated Air Cooled Retsoed on skids $775.00 johnny Boy Associated hopper cooled $725.00

D14 Allis Chalmers Freash paint job $2600.00

5 Hp Hercules Some NICE Original paint and pinstripping Needed govenour weight and crank guard No cart or skids $430.00

2 1/2 Famous that Mr Ritter had made into a screen cooled portable model years ago $2675.00

Mr Ritter had a good collection of grinders and corn crackers also

Appleton No.1 $225.00 No 1 Hero $360.00 Kelly Duplex $135.00 Us Engine and Wind $185.00 New Model $310.00 Maple Leaf Jr.$400.00

Oiler glass by the Box lot $120.00 4 New Low tension coils $100.00 18' Starlite trailer with electric winch $1825.00

It was a great sale and will miss the many times I spent at Mr Ritter's place. The sale was forced due to Mr Ritter's failing health. The Ritters will be moving in with Family and have already sold there home. Many of you Know John I'm sure. And I think its safe to say we all wish him well, and if any of you have other results from The Ritter Auction Please do share.

Does anyone know who bought the reworked 3 HP vertical M? I would like to contact them.
