Cody,
Nice that you had access to big belt sander for your radiator tanks, I had to go radiator tank surfing on the blacktop behind an old Buick to get mine milled off.

I used a wix 51503 in my purolator canister on my 27 model E.

You can check out my allis resto thread for more info if needed. These are great tractors, good luck on your project!
Tony

Well the Allis did what it was supposed to and threshed like a champ this past weekend there was no lack of power! Running perfect on straight kerosene and not breaking the bank either- Kero is a 1.20 per liter here, gas is 1.07 so pretty close. I am getting 35 to 40 psi of oil pressure with the new style filter what are other people getting? I will post some pics later but here are some videos. The first one we had set up and threshed a load already but apparently the straw blew right to the food stand so had to relocate.

Looks good Cody. Looks like you had a good day there. Nice radiator blind!! Do you have to change your carb setting much when switching over to Kero??

I had my '28 out at the Ukrainian village show last weekend to run their thresher, same as last year. Had a good day weather wise and a large crowd.
I think the 'ol Allis has developed a head gasket leak on the front head so it's going to have to come apart for the first time to deal with that. It ran OK but I noticed the occasional puff of white smoke and it didn't start as readily as usual when warm.

It's not much of an adjustment between the two and really I don't mess with it now that I got it set when we were threshing, if you notice in the videos I had it a bit rich then once we got going I started leaning it out. If I let the tractor run for more than 10 minns on gas it will start backfiring cause the exaust gets a big portion of the intake pretty hot
