A update to what I said in the first post of this thread. The start up show is set for the 27th & 28th of August 2016 but we will be there sometime on the 23rd as have to get the tractors out and lined up ect. Most of the tractors have not been run for some years. We plan to do our best to get as many running that we can. We have several good tractor men coming to help. Kevin Roth & Sons Elgin, ND will be on the Flour City. Matt Folstad West Fargo, ND will get the 40-80 & 25-50 Averys going. Kelly Tytslandvic Estevan, Sask will be on the 25-50 Minneapolis. Ed Dina Marlbouro, New York, Dudley Debolt Roxbury, Conn. & Doug Reachard Cody, Wyoming will team up on the Square Turn and 30-60 Hart Parr. Luke Steinberger, Harwood, ND, Dean Lemer, Martin, ND will take care of the 30-60 S Rumely & the 20-35 M Rumely. Am hoping Merlin Cron, Ray, ND can make it as would like him to get the 75Holt going. George Best from Oregon called Glynn yesterday and is bringing a couple fellows with him so we will put them to work if the want a job. Same goes for anybody that wants to help as are several more tractors & engines that should be running and we all will do our best to make this happen. Dana Young, Great Falls, MT will have a tractor and Bobcat there to get them out and in line Glynn Orvick will be the gofer as he knows were things are. I can't walk very good but will be there and do what I can. We will have a good time and will be a big thrill to get those tractors running again for the Mehmke Sisters and in Memory of Walter Mehmke the girls Grandfather and Father Carl Mehmke who togeather built up the collection. In my last Post I got carried away talking about tractors and forgot to mention that Bob Woodburn, Bozeman, Mt is coming to Mehmkes to get Carls Big Studebaker up and running also at the risk of working him to hard hope he can have time to get the Model T car and maybe the Packard truck running also. Also sounds like Clearance Young may bring a couple of his International Engines from his dandy collection of IHC early engines. Also Kelly just called me and let me know I screwed up on the date it is the 27 & 28 of August not September. Bad mistake on my part and am glad Kelly caught it now. John Tysse Jr Crosby, ND

I really hope you guys have a successful event. Unfortunately Keven, Jeremy and I have way too much stuff to do at Rollag getting our display ready and getting ready for our Witte visitors. I hope you all have fun and a great weekend.

We have had great success at the mehmke museum getting old tractors running again. All big tractors have been started. We even took the s rumely out plowing. Gotta love that montana landscape. A lot of great individuals out here and a lot of progress made.

I have been reading all what you guys are doing out there, This place is on my list of places to see. I understand that there are some green Allis Chalmers tractors there, If there is, did any one get them running, As I am into the Allis Chalmers line . If you check my profile you will see a 1925 Allis Chalmers model 15-25 Roger Weinhold AKA ( CHARLIE 1925 ) Take care .

Roger If you ever get that far out you must stop at the Tyler Ranch in Moore MT and see their collection. It took 3 generations to amass this great collection and Mike Tyler is now the caretaker. It does contain has several green AC's and another 100 or so tractors. It is a must see. My wife and I will be meeting Mike and his wife at Rollag on this coming Thursday and enjoy several days at the worlds greatest tractor-engine show. Ed B

Hi Guys

I just got home from Mehmkes. We had a great time! There seemed to be a lot of cooperation from the tractors.....I think only a couple leaking gas tanks to patch and a couple water leaks to seal up! All the mags had spark! Maybe just a testament to how well they had been stored.....made our job easier! Once I get my camera down loaded I will flood you with pictures and videos. They are worth a thousand words!

People came from all over North America to help! Some driving and some flying in just to get together and get some tractors running!!!!!! A great group of people!

I would like to thank the Mehmke's for their hospitality! And for the opportunity to help with tractors that are part of one of the early premier collections!

On a side note we got to visit Clarence Young and his family! Thank You for the tour! I also got a chance to look up my Grandfathers 1909 homestead at Loma on my way to Great Falls.

It was a great weekend!!!!

Stay tuned for photos and videos.

Kelly T

Just got home not long ago as well. Most of my pics are on my high resolution camera.. will be too big for here but will dumb down the pics. As normal, I didn't take enough pictures. And yes, thanks to the mehmkes for their hospitality and great food. For the time being here are a couple pictures. And I will tell u all one thing.... there was nothing better than hearing youngs 110 case and mehmkes prairie tractor plowing in the valley behind the farm. That sound just echoed in the valley. Truly a step back in time.
