Default Stover Drag Saw - help needed

Can any of you Stover drag saw owners supply me with pictures or dimensions of the wood runners. My saw is mostly complete, and I need these to finish it.

Thanks, Eric

PS: Is there not alot of Stover drag saws out there? Not alot of posts, I don't see any pictures.

Eric,
I have one but I took it to the storage yard day before yesterday in our toy hauler trailer.
We are headed to our farm in Indiana tonite and wont be seeing it till we come back this fall.
I have ours in great shape and use it at the Florida Flywheelers shows.
Maybe someone else has one that can help.
What engine does yours have? Ours has a CT2 and it dates to 1937.
If you can't find any info; I'll be back in Florida for a week or two in June and I'll go there and measure it for you. I just don't have time before we leave tonite, sorry.
Lou

Thanks, I will let you know if no one else is able to help. Mine has a KA engine dating to 1924.

Lou, I recieved no other replies with dimensions. If you have time in June, I would truely appreciate if you could take some measurements of the skid (and photos if you can)

Thank You

Eric,
We are going home on monday for a week, glad you reminded me.
Do you have any of the skid? And do you have all the parts? I will measure it in detail.

I have the old skid but it looks like a replacement. I think most of the parts are there. There is no friction material left in the clutch (it took me months to get it apart). The mechanism to tighten the chain dog to the log is missing. The majot things I have left to do are: fuel tank, have webster mag charged, wood skid, clutch material.

Eric,
The clutch on mine has no friction material in it either, it appears to be metal on metal, it works fine.

Here is the sketch of my skid. Not an original, there was a small wheel at the front. Also my large gear doesn't have two holes for different strokes (no tree felling option) I think this is because it is an early (1924).

Thanks, it's a throttle-governed CT2, 1937 model based on serial number.

Thanks. Am looking for pictures or details of the clamping mechanism including hooks, chain or whatever holds it to the log. Would it be a Peavey hook?
