Default Ottowa Dragsaw Questions

Hello All,
Just brought home an Ottowa Drag Saw and I will have questions as I progress.
I have too many projects, but my wife has her blessing on this one!

Welcome to the Stak
I started with basket case Ottawa TE 4hp. I have a cool running saw now. I found the buzz saw attachment last year.
Post a few pictures if you can, there's a lot of help to be found on here.

I've got the pictures but have to get them off the camera. I have a question... does the carb draw fuel from the bottom?

Yes the fuel is drawn from the bottom, the tank is under the engine. There is a pipe inside the tank so it gets fuel while cutting. It looks like you have a pulley on your engine that would have been added to run belt driven equipment. Do you have the saw parts?

No I have the saw but none of the associated equiptment to guide the saw. Thanks for the update on the fuel delivery, I stuck my finger in the tank and the smell of old gas brought me back to the days of old lawnmower's and old rototiller's too!

The saw parts can be hard to find, I have seen them pop up on engine adds and eBay once in a while. Good luck with it.
