Default Wisconsin Manifold

Hi everyone, I just have a question about Wisconsin V4 motors. I bought a manifold with carb. off a Wisconsin V4 in a scrapyard and thought it was a VH4 motor. Data plate was missing. After that I bought a VH4D and compared manifolds they are really different. The VH4D exhaust comes out the top where the other one comes out the side. Any idea what type the side exhaust is?
