Hi Knares,
welcome to the BB.
I do not know a lot about Mac 2 strokes but I believe that the S/No you have quoted is the S/No for the Lubricator on your engine--this from my
A. H.McDonald Industrial Pioneer Book, S/No listings in the back of said book.
http://www.oldengine.org/members/ken.../resources.htm

May be available thru Plough Book Sales here in Victoria these days--this link should get you there

http://www.ploughbooksales.com.au/

The following link is for TOMM site list of Registers

https://www.tomm.net.au/registers.php

Hope this helps,
Cheers,
Eddie B.

You can find the serial number stamped on the rib at the top where the cylinder joins the crankcase

25 hp YD . Serial number is stamped on the machined flat that the fuel pump bolts to. It will start or end with the leters YD.
I see it hasnt been started since the paint job. If you dont know how to start it your better off starting a thread on the Smokstak downunder section.
Good engines !
