Usually.. but they would special order them to the customers specs.. usually the build sheet will say who it was built for

Looks like it has been converted. But still a nice looking unit. Tri fuel just means it can run on Gasoline,Natural/LP gas. Nothing really special about them. Most parts are all the same. The high compression engines have a few changes. They are all worth having. Depending on your location. One fuel may be better than another. Most people that just have to have a Tri fuel unit. Only ever run it on one gas. I think they get it for bragging rights.

Thanks Billy. I would only ever run propane... This would be for an off grid cabin, that has an inverter, solar and batteries.. So it would mostly be running to charge the batteries on days that are not so sunny.

So with out being higher compression, you may not get full KW out of it running on propane/ nat gas?

Thanks

Yes you will lose some power. But it sounds like you will still have plenty of power. Good friend of mine Has a 4 BFA that we are converting to propane. His biggest load is one small AC unit. The rest is a few lights and maybe a fan. Nice hunting cabin in the woods. I go there some times just to get away. Nice to wake up to the deer and quiet. Of course there is one stupid crow that may get shot.

grif Being rich like Max is. You never know. Maybe he will hire me to run the warehouse. Every shop needs some one to hang around and collect dust.

You'll get full rated power on propane without the higher CR.
Less on natural gas.

Well that last one I posted about sold the same as it was listed for 500$..

Anyway I just bought another one! I think its a 5.0CCK... The data tag is missing. However the numbers on the block read 548226. Will this number tell me anything?

It is setup for propane/nat. gas. Ill post some more pics of it soon.

It will get you the build sheet. That will tell you what it left the factory with.
